EDIT PIAF - "The Little Sparrow"
The "Little Sparrow" at her very best in a 1954 production compliments of youtube.com! This fabulous French singer at a mere 4'8" is simply unparalleled in talent. One of her most popular songs, "La Vie En Rose" (translated "Life in Pink" or "Life Through Rose Colored Glasses"), has been remade time and time again, by some of Hollywood's finest - none which compare to Edith, the woman that wrote this beautiful love song which, we promise you, will bring tears to your eyes (especially if you heard the English Translation (although the French version is MUCH better) - also on Youtube.com). Be sure to see the new documentary film out about her by the same name. You can find copies of her music on Amazon.com. We highly recommend ALL of them - we absolutely ADORE this woman, her bird-like voice, and her tragic life.
