Fabulous, large 13.5" dark brown 1950's-60's alligator skin shoulder bag by Vassar! Great construction and nice ample size with glossy skins and shiny solid brass fittings, floating side hinges, and top clasp, and strong 1" thick shoulder strap. The interior is a spotless pumpkin colored genuine leather with 2 open, 1 snapped, and 1 zippered pockets and a matching coin purse and original mirror - signed "Genuine Alligator, Vassar!" Four protective feet on bottom. This is the perfect everyday bag and other than a few scratches on the hardware, it is in perfect condition!
